Switching to a meter could save you money. This will depend on the number of people in your house, whether you are a high, average or low user and how much you are currently paying on an unmeasured basis.

The first step to help you decide whether a water meter is right for you is to work out how much water your household uses in a year.

To do this you can use our automatic calculator. All you need to do is to work out how many times per week your household uses various water-using appliances. You can then calculate the approximate total bill you would pay for water services, if you switched to a water meter.

Metered customers can contact Mid Kent Water from 1st March each year to obtain information on prices for the new financial year.
