Teachers zone
Education is a priority for South East Water and we work with schools and teachers to help youngsters learn about the exciting world of water.
The business of supplying drinking water covers many topics, such as science, nature and the environment, planning, engineering and citizenship.
We have specially trained speakers who can visit your school or group to provide an educational talk for seven to 11-year-olds. To arrange a visit in Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire and Berkshire, contact Jane Gould. Please give your school or group name, address and contact telephone number with full details of your request.
South East Water also sponsors the Water in the School website. This site encourages schools to carry out a Water Metering Project using free resources and information on the website. So, while pupils learn about how to conserve water, the school can also save money on its water bills.
