Stage one - Water resources public exhibitions, November 2007
Prior to the official merger between South East Water and Mid Kent Water in December 2007, both companies had been working hard to identify possible options for the future supply of water resources in each area.
In November and early December 2007, both companies had reached the same stage in their respective planning processes and conducted public exhibitions within each company area.
Mid Kent Water held six public exhibitions in three town centre locations - Canterbury, Ashford and Maidstone.
South East Water held five public exhibitions in five town centre locations - Uckfield, Eastbourne, Tunbridge Wells, Alton and Bracknell.
