How much does your water cost you?

South East Water is continuing its massive £310 million investment programme to deliver further improvements to its extensive water supply systems.

We are also continuing with the day job of water treatment and the transfer to your tap of safe, clean drinking water, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are responsible for delivering, on average 565 million litres of drinking water every day to 2.1 million customers across Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.

The merger of South East Water and Mid Kent Water has meant customers’ bills are 2% lower than they would have been. A one-off £4 million rebate was agreed with the Competition Commission which approved the merger last year.

Our average domestic bill for 2008/09 is £161 which equates to less than 50 pence a day - and for that you get all the water you need for drinking, washing and cooking. We hope you agree the cost of delivering quality water straight to your tap remains excellent value for money.
