Fishing Season
Arlington Reservoir is open from January 2 to June 30, with boat fishing from April 1. We will re-open from September 29 to December 30, closing on December 24, 25 and 26.

Anglers may not be on the lakeside before the start times, which may be subject to change.

Bank Start
5.30am (season permit holders only)
6.30am (members only)
7.30am (day ticket permit holders only)
Boat Start
9.00am or 3.00pm (evening boat)
Closing Times
The fishery will close just after sunset (see times displayed in fishing lodges)
Facilities
A self-service facility is available at the fishery, when the Lodge is unmanned.
There are public toilets in the car park, toilets are available in the fishing lodge for anglers. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.

The following range of permits is on sale at the Fishing Lodge. When staff are unavailable, a self-service facility is in place.

Qualified Tuition
Qualified tuition is available at Arlington Reservoir.
For beginners
Learn all the basics in addition to how to cast, the kit you will need, how to choose fly patterns and more. There will be two beginners days in April and May at Arlington Reservoir. Please telephone 01323 870810 for details.
For more experienced anglers
Learn to double haul more effectively, cast a tight loop, avoid tailing loops, cast in various winds, loch style and boat fishing techniques. Arlington reservoir is a Troutmaster Waters.
