Upper Hale Road, Farnham

*Update 13 October 2017

We are currently working with the local planning authority to agree a plan to reinstate the area after our new pipeline has been laid.

No decisions will be made on this project until we have all the relevant permissions in place.

As a result, we will not be starting the first section of this project on Monday 23 October. We will keep you updated on the new start date for the first section of work when this is confirmed.

Why are we doing this work?

As part of an ongoing programme to improve our water supply network we are planning a scheme to install an 842 metre pipeline along Odiham Road and Upper Hale Road, Farnham.

This £390,000 scheme is necessary to improve the capacity of the network and ensure we can continue to maintain water pressure to the area as the community grows.

Where are we working?

Construction work will be carried out along Upper Hale Road from the junction with Old Park Lane to just past Trinity Hill.

As a safety precaution for pedestrians and motorists, temporary traffic lights will be in operation on Upper Hale Road and Odiham Road (A287) for part of the work.

This will not impact upon any bus stops or local bus routes, but we would advise bus passengers and motorists to allow extra time for their journeys.

Please be assured that access to homes and businesses will be maintained at all times.

When is the work due to start?

We are currently working with the local highways team and council to carefully plan our work along the A287 and Upper Hale Road. We will keep you updated on our planned start date.
