A new water main in Buttons Lane, Wadhurst has been installed successfully as part of an ongoing programme to improve our water network.
The old, unreliable main had burst 16 times over the last three years. The new 175-metre pipeline will reduce the likelihood of disruptive bursts and subsequent repairs.
The £25,000 project took 10 days to complete in February and will secure the top-quality drinking water supplies to the area for years to come.
