We have upgraded our water supply network in Paddock Wood by replacing an ageing, burst-prone water main with a new, wider pipe in Mascalls Court Road.
This will reduce the amount of disruption caused by frequent bursts and will allow us to secure top-quality drinking water supplies to Paddock Wood and the surrounding areas as the local population increases.
The £200,000 project to lay almost 500 metres of new pipeline in Paddock Wood forms part of an ongoing £489 million programme of investment to improve our water supply network.
The work took place within Mascalls Court Road, between the junctions with Chantler’s Hill and Linnet Avenue, and started on Monday 26 June, 2023.
Following completion of the work, the road closure in Mascalls Court Road was lifted in early September and we’d like to thank the community for their patience while this vital work was carried out.
