We’re always working to improve our water network to continue to supply top quality drinking water across the south east.

We’re going to be making some improvements to the water network in the Ringmer area soon.

What's going to happen and when?

We’re going to install new water pipes across different sections to improve our network in the Ringmer area.

By installing this additional pipeline, we’ll be able to supply new developments in the area and maintain the existing water pressure for customers.

The planning for this project is underway and we’re starting work from Thursday, 23 July 2026. Our teams will work weekdays and some Saturday mornings.

We expect the project to take approximately four months in total. We’ll do our best to get the work done faster if we can.

We thank you for your understanding while we improve the water supply in your area.

Road closures

Rolling road closures will be in place during the course of the project for the safety of motorists, pedestrians and our work force.

The closures are scheduled to be as follows:

  • Ringmer Road (cycle lane) - under two-way traffic lights from Monday, 24 August for approximately six weeks.
