As part of our ongoing programme to improve our water supply network, we have carried out a £30,000 project to investigate the condition of a burst prone water main in three locations along Canterbury Road, Challock.

We also installed air valves to support the network.

These investigatory works were undertaken to allow us to assess the condition of the water main and determine how likely it is to need replacing in the future.

To minimise disruption, construction was carried out in phases, with work at each location completed and the area restored to its original condition before moving to the next site.

Work started on Monday 11 September and took three weeks to complete.
