Launch Recite Me web accessibility software

As part of our ongoing programme to improve our water supply network, we're installing 845 metres of new water pipe in Handcross Road and High Beeches Lane, Balcombe.

Work has started in the site of a local water treatment works and reservoir. Once this section of work is complete we will be moving out into Handcross Road and will be installing the new pipe towards the junction with High Beeches Lane.

There is no traffic management required while we work in our site, however there will be times when large delivery vehilces will require access and this may cause some minor disruption due to the narrowness of the road.

We plan to start work in Handcross Road on 31 January and work is expected to take 17 weeks to complete.

As a safety precaution for pedestrians, motorists and our workforce we will be closing Handcross Road to through traffic only with advanced warning signs in place before the road is closed.

Following work in Handcross Road we will be working in High Beeches Lane, under two-way traffic lights.

Accesss to homes and businesses will be maintained throughout the project.
