Keep the ideas flowing
The competition may be over, but our mission to save water continues year-round. Over the winter, we’ve loved hearing about the creative ways you’re reducing your water usage at home, and we don't want that to stop.
Whether you've perfected the four-minute shower or found a clever hack for reusing dishwater, we want to hear from you. We've set up a new page dedicated to your brilliant water-saving habits. Keep an eye out - your ideas might just be featured!
The final five winners will be contacted by email within two weeks of the competition ending.
To claim your prize, you must respond within 30 days of notification. If you do not, South East Water reserves the right to select another winner.
The prize will be delivered to the address held on your South East Water account. Delivery dates will be determined at South East Water’s discretion.
The competition closed at 11:59pm on Tuesday 31 March 2026.
A water butt is a simple way to save every drop by collecting rain water. You can use it to keep your garden green, wash your car or clean your outdoor spaces, all without turning on the tap. It's better for your plants as rain water is full of nutrients, it helps you save money if you're on a meter and it eases pressure on drains during heavy rain. Even better, it's completely free!
