Update at 11:30, 15/01/2026

We’re extremely sorry to all customers who currently have no water or low pressure. Here we summarise the areas where there are currently or have been interruptions recently, a summary of what’s happening and where you can get more regular updates.

We know how tough it is to be without water and this is not the level of service we want to provide. We are using every available resource to water supplies; from fixing leaks to rerouting water around our network.

For all customers, please make sure your taps are turned off while there is no water. This is to prevent flooding when your water supplies are restored.

Kent Interruptions

Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas

  • Pembury and South Tunbridge Wells - Customers have had intermittent supply as the local drinking water storage tank dropped to low levels due to the freeze and thaw conditions causing multiple burst pipes in the area. The storage tank is refilling much slower than we hoped due to wider impacts we’ve had, so we have changed our strategy. This will mean keeping the booster pumps off for a further 36 hours. We now expect the levels in the tank to stabilise by Friday (16 January). Until then customers may not have any supply at all. Stay up to date here(opens in a new tab).
  • Mount Ephraim - Most customers will now have their water supply back to normal, with a few on higher ground who may have intermittent supply at peak times when more water is being used. We’re working hard to stabilise the network. Stay up to date here(opens in a new tab).

Tonbridge

  • Bidborough and surrounding areas - Customers may have no water or low pressure due to low water levels in our drinking water storage tank meaning we’re unable to pump water to everyone. We are working to fill the tank and restore supplies as quickly as possible. Stay up to date here(opens in a new tab).
  • Hunton Road area - We’re pleased to say that supplies are returning to customers’ homes as normal. You can view all updates here(opens in a new tab).

Maidstone and surrounding areas

  • Loose - Supplies have returned to all customers. There is now high demand on the system, so we kindly ask that customers use water for essential purposes, to allow our storage tank levels to stabilise fully. Stay up to date here(opens in a new tab).
  • Coxheath and surrounding areas - Customers may still low pressure as the network refills, following a burst pipe. Stay up to date here(opens in a new tab).
  • Lenham - Customers may still have no water or low pressure while we work to repair a burst pipe. Stay up to date here(opens in a new tab).

Sevenoaks and surrounding areas

  • We’re pleased to say that supplies are returning to customers’ homes as normal. You can view all updates here(opens in a new tab).

Canterbury

  • Customers in the Reed Avenue area may have no water or low pressure due a burst pipe. We are trying to fix it as quickly as we can. Stay up to date here(opens in a new tab).

Sussex interruptions

East Grinstead and surrounding areas

We’re pleased to say that supplies have returned to all customers. We sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding during this challenging time. You can view all updates here(opens in a new tab).

Haywards Heath

Customers in the Lewes Road area may have low pressure as we’re currently supplying water to the Fire Service following a fire in the area. Once the fire has been put out, your pressure will return to normal. Stay up to date here(opens in a new tab).
