Health and Wellbeing

We want our people to feel supported at work, which is why looking after our colleagues mental and physical health is our top priority. After going through a transformation period due to the Covid-19 pandemic many of our colleagues are now working remotely. We want to ensure both mental and physical health is looked after no matter what, and we have a range of tools and benefits in place to help:

Mental Health First Aiders

We're proud to have more than 40 trained Mental Health First Aiders in place across the company. They're our 'go to' people for staff who are in times of crisis. They're not there to judge, counsel or advise, but they have been trained and are equipped with the skills to support staff in times of distress. They have the tools available to guide and support staff towards professional help.

Employee Assistance Programme

We offer a 100 per cent confidential helpline to support employees and their family with a range of personal issues. Health Assured, an independent provider, offer the service 24 hours a day. It also offers a range of additional support if required, including face to face counselling.

Safety Representatives

We have Safety Representatives throughout the business who attend our health and safety committee meetings and work to ensure employees have their voices heard on policy issues.

Work / life balance

We know the best staff want the best terms and conditions, but we also know that a good work/life is about more than that. The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the way we all work and we are committed to improving this new agile way of working and communicating in the future. This includes offering more flexible and remote ways of working and using the latest technology to keep in touch.

We're a social bunch (whether in person or via Zoom) and our sports and social club costs just £2 a month and gives our employees the chance to get discounted tickets on all sorts of concerts, West End shows, weekend's away and family days out. We also offer an on-site deli at our head office and weekly keep fit classes.

Our staff have volunteered at events such as Glastonbury and have also taken part in the 6 Peak Challenge.

Recognition

We run a bi-annual award ceremony called STARS to recognise the achievements of our staff and partners to celebrate excellence within our company. We also hold annual long service and recognition awards to celebrate milestone and achievements.
